of Housing Colonies and Commercial Complexes for all sections of the society. We,

as per specifications and at reasonable cost.
The success of an organisation very much depends on satisfaction of its customers.
Good service reflects on good image popularity and good prospects. Although we are
constantly making efforts to provide services to customers, but to further improve
our services, we felt it necessary to move into directions whereby we implement
'Total Quality Management' (TQM) in all its spheres.
The organisation has established, documented, implemented and is maintaining the
'Quality Management System' and improving its effectiveness continuously in accordance
with the requirements of 'IS/ISO 9001:2000'.
The organisation has:

throughout the organisation.
Determined the sequence and interaction of these processes.

control of these processes are effective.
Ensured the availability of resources and information necessary to support the operation
and monitoring of these processes and periodically reviews them.
Established the system for monitoring, measuring and analyzing these processes.
Established the system of implementing actions necessary to achieve planned results
and continual improvement of these processes.

Quality Control Cell:-
Madhya Pradesh Housing & Infrastructure Development Board has created 'QUALITY CONTROL CELL' at Head Office Bhopal
vide office Order No.212/dt.20-08-2004. This Cell is Headed by Additional Housing
Commissioner.
This Cell is responsible for Quality Control and inspection going works
of Madhya
Pradesh Housing & Infrastructure Development Board within State as well as out of the State.
Works for which tenders are called by Head Office, Circle and Division are inspected
three times, two times and once respectively during their construction period.
The Cell also check the measurement books and payment made to the contractor
and records pertaining to payment. Cell also gives comments on performance of
contractor so as to take appropriate action regarding their registration.
Compliance of the inspection reports issued by the Cell and their final disposal
is responsibility of Cell.
Project Cost versus Number of Inspections:-
Projects which are tendered at the Head Office level are inspected thrice during
their construction period whereas the works being tendered from Circle and Division
office are inspected twice and once respectively during the project construction
period.
Inspection includes the checking of measurement books and other records of work
being maintained by engineers. Inspection report containing report regarding Performance
of contractor is issued by the Head of the Quality Control Cell.
Norms of Quality Audit:-
Review of quality management system is done by top management system to ensure its
continuity, suitability, adequacy and effectiveness.
All the construction works are carried out as per BIS norms and execution of works
is as per procedures or methods described by BIS, Housing Board SOR, DSR or Book
of Maharashatra specifications
Works are checked as per norms prescribed by the above books, to ensure Best Quality
and Customer satisfaction
Resources & Agencies:-
Standard methods and test described by Bureau of Indian Standards are used to assess
the quality of work. Agencies like M.A.N.I.T, Bhopal, R.I.L, Bhopal and other State
Engineering Colleges & Polytechnic are used for testing of raw material and
finished product to evaluate quality of construction
Benchmark of quality:- To achieve goal of quality and customer satisfaction all
works are performed as per Housing Board SOR, B.I.S. Standards and D.S.R.etc
